Does anyone have experience owning an experience rather than a product? My background is product ownership but in my current role when I’m building a roadmap my span is so broad without any real ownership. It causes me to feel paralyzed when making decisions. What the true priority is might never get worked because other groups don’t deem it a priority, regardless of my influence. I could go on regarding the challenges but would love tips on managing an experience instead of a real product.

I am 25 F. Working in Aerospace & Military Defence Co as a Technical Buyer. I have 2 years expierence within administrative roles, 1 year in procurement. I got this role after interviewing for one below (purchasing assistant) the salary for that role was 21-24K. I was already on 24K so they offered me the same salary - however, the buyer role came up and they offered me this instead but same salary -24K. I have a pay review in April, I want to ask for 28K, is this too much?

Is it wrong that I’m just not into PE/VC? It seems to be the most desirable exit for most people that I work with. The work seems like it’s not a good fit for me but it feels crazy to pass up trying to get that amount of money when there really isn’t a realistic alternative to that amount of wealth (and I do want that amount of wealth).
