I was assigned to a project which has application support and maintainance in Ionic. I am from Native android background having 4 years of experience. Does ionic has demand in industry ? I am a little skeptical about this. Please if anyone could throw some light on it.

That's roughly a 17% raise. Do you know where your currently salary is relative to the mid point of that position? I know some companies will determine pay based on a percentage of midpoint using a multiplier.
Example: if the midpoint is 25k then your current multiplier is 0.96 ($24,000 / $25,000). If you're asking for 28k, that'd bump the multiplier up to 1.12 ($28,000 / $25,000) which seems like a lot unless your performance review was stellar and / or you came into the role with a lower multiplier. Again, this opinion depends on the current midpoint (assuming your company uses that methodology).
Let me know if I'm misinterpreting your question.
Hi
So I would normally agree with this logic but I’ve put out on a band 2 role, on a band 3 wage. So I think the 17% raise sounds like a lot but most people would start on 26k and get a pay rise on the 3 month pay rise. I hope that makes sense? I’m also expecting it not to be 28k but I feel like I should ask for more to get what I want
