Sending a virtual hug. Do you have access to quality therapy through your insurance? Do you have a solid group of friends dealing with the same thing that you can talk to? I joined Well-Read Black Girl in LA and having other black women to talk to has been helpful.
I used to! But I went to therapy, and changed my circle which is a massive support. I’m in a healthy relationship.
You have to talk it out with yourself and others, learn to understand how and why you’re feeling that way, and actively work to fix and change things.
Unfortunately when people hurt us. It is our responsibility to heal ourselves. Which sucks. But there is support. There’s so many black women open to love you. You just have to find your tribe. The girlies that hype you up, hold you accountable and love you fiercely.
It exist. Sending you healing and loving energy for the journey ahead!

I have struggled with this. It’s geared towards black men. I remain single because I haven’t gone to a specialist to help me locate the underlying cause. I personally believe it’s has something to do with either my father or older brother. More so my older brother than my father.
