$85k

When I was senior, 90-108

Digital in my title but do a bit more. $101K with bonuses in NYC. Looking for more. Lateral moves I’ve interviewed for, or discussed with recruiters, seem to be capping at $110K based on experience. And this includes a relocation convo to Austin. Director opportunities seem to be starting around $125-130K.

$100k

$100k

105k. In LA. Could make another 10-15 elsewhere, but happy for now

A friend is pushing really hard to recruit me coming in as a Manager at Deloitte but I have some concerns: 1. 5.5 weeks of PTO 2. Bonus payouts close to 40K 3. Base salary for managers starting out at $155 4. Good work life balance (I call BS on this one) 5. Great culture. No up and out culture? 6. Rank managers based on a scattered plot 7. $25 signing bonus Deloitte laid off a bunch of people last year and now are saying they had their best year ever? Any insight will be appreciated.

Currently working as a Relationship Banker. Haven’t had no complaints with how Chase has handled the pandemic from the consumer banking side. Recently I was asked if I was interested in a Financial solutions advisor role at Bank of America. Things have slowly began to pick up at our branch and while I would like to continue my career at Chase. The bump in base salary increases as well as the earning potential. Any advice on how to make a decision? Things to consider besides pay?

For my yearly review I tried to request for a bigger compensation with a few reasons on how I have taken up more responsibilities and helped sustain/grow business to which I receive a response where they still need a follow up email from me to justify my effort in the past year. The people making the decision are all new so they haven’t been a part of my journey. I know I deserve this raise. How do I make it more convincing?

I feel like using star method in interviews in overrated. I stopped using STAR and finally started to get offers. It’s better to be genuine and let the conversation flow than to stick to a structure. Thoughts? Maybe I just got lucky.
