Does anyone know the headcount approval process in Morgan Stanley? I got a verbal offer from the team, but they told me later their headcount is still pending the management’s approval and thus written offer should “hold on” currently.

I am not sure if “hold on” means hc is withdrawn or it needs longer time to wait - Has anyone been in the similar situations before and could be so kind to tell me what’s your case and outcomes. Thanks mates in advance!

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately.
