I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

Look into EFA ( Engagement financial advisors) roles at Deloitte!
Take the Enrolled Agent exam thru the IRS or the non-sponsored Series 66 exam thru NASAA.
Starting for either of these is around $60k; to break into an operations or servicing role.
If you’re interested in investment banking, then now would be a good time to apply for new-grad rotational programs on LinkedIn. Keep an eye out for firms like Citi and Cambridge Associates, and be sure to tap into your alumni network wherever possible for advice and referrals.
Great question and if I could guide my younger self, knowing what I know now, here’s what I’d consider. Look at every job differently, even with respect to the one in healthcare right now. What could you learn there as an operator based on the product or services they are providing. If I’m an undergrad with a finance degree, I’d consider analyst roles where if I could underwrite a plethora of investment strategies, what would I need to understand? If I plan to work at a venture capital firm as an analyst, based on my growing background, what sourcing opportunities would be attractive based on that firm’s strategy. Think about what opportunities you would source based on their stage of investing, investment thesis, and portfolio construction. Whatever you do, please think outside of the box of a typical accounting role. There are some different and exciting roles out there which could take you traveling around the world or at least the nation. It’s life changing and this is what they don’t teach you in school.
No, it’s more like how does leadership and HR look for new talent. How do we appeal to newer and young professionals entering the space while valuing inclusion and diverse backgrounds.
What skills have you learned from the healthcare position?
i majored in english and didnt know what to do career wise when I graduated from college. Vanguard reached out to me and offered me a position that began my finance career. they're always hiring and I think they look great on a resume and a really good entry level first job in the industry.
