For those who have passed the CIPM exam, what is it like (and how does it compare to the CIPP/US exam)?

I need to know if I’ve pigeon-holed myself. I have an undergrad in music business, and got a lot of good experience then. Worked in live events for 4 years before returning to law school, intending to practice in entertainment law (specifically music). Got a summer internship at a boutique entertainment firm, but no offer due to the small market. Moved to a larger market, but I’m not in one of the “hotspots”. I’m in-house currently, and have moved up quickly. (Cont.)

What are your opinions on getting too much work in early phase of career? I have almost one year of experience and after switching to a new organisation I have like alot of work in my plate. Which company is better in terms of job security, work life balance. That's the top most factor I am considering. Interviewing with a small (50 people) boutique firm in a management position. They are in an industry I have 10 years of experience plus I have 5 years management consulting experience in B4 firm. Assuming the pay and potential bonus are reasonable what kind of challenges would I be in for? I already understand this would be a risk to join and help them grow but if I were successful I think it could be very rewarding.
