Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

Every firm has firm initiatives, but Deloitte is the only one I know of to make them an explicit evaluation metric.
Accenture is exactly the same. Tons of firm initiatives and definitely expected to be working on them
Every firm has them and at the two firms I've been at they've played a part in promotion and compensation decisions

I believe FIs at D have gotten better over the years. When I was at D from 2013-2015, I started off in SI and at the time the focus was on quantity of FI hours, not quality. If memory serves, the expectation for a 1 rating in my area of SI was a minimum of 400 hours of FIs for BTAs, 300-350 for CS, and 200-250 for SCs.
During my M promo year in 2015, I was told that it was being changed to focus on quality of FI hours and that as long as I hit at least 100 impactful FI hours, that'd be fine. I left before going through YE, so I don't know if my ~120 FI hours was actually enough to qualify for a top bucket rating, but it was certainly better than before!
