Loving Hut in Joo Chiat Road is worth visiting for its vegan versions of local dishes like Laksa and Satay, if you're okay with the travelling. It's so worth it.
It's not as abundant as vegetarian options, but vegan choices are increasing, especially in modern restaurants and cafes. Popular vegan spots I know are Whole Earth Café for Peranakan-Thai cuisine and VeganBurg for vegan burgers. Not sure about Juron in particular.
If you're ok with vegan options from non-vegan eateries, there's a variety of options at food courts and other establishments in Jurong East.
Jurong East with shopping mall like IMM, JEM and Westgate go to Greendot. Hawker centre or wet market usually sell Chinese Vegetarian.
Vegetables are cheap in market …
Vegan is tough because Singaporeans are mostly meat eaters… temples offer fake duck 🦆 and chicken 🐓 occasionally… welcome to the heartlands
If you’re moving from london (like I did) it will be a massive downgrade. Hawker centre visits with friends are likely to be a bit quite tricky (esp. if vegan). There is a vegan community of sorts here that I’ve plugged into which has been nice and happycow is your friend :)
Remember doing a vegan meetup where we went to D’Life for lunch and wellsmoocht for real good desserts
Both the stated places in the meetup are in the Jurong East area
rule number 1, forget what you read from fancy touristy brochures about SG. skip the marina bays and orchard, real food starts in the neighborhoods and even hawker centres(google it when u arrive) near you. there are plenty of vegetarian stalls/indian/chinese etc.just ask the locals. explore on site. Jurong east/west MRT lines have options
Try Soul Kind Cafe. Love the vegetarian options here
