HNY copy bowl! <3 Here's a vulnerable question: Does using AI in your workflow give you a guilty conscience in the sense that you're losing your ability to think for yourself? I've become pretty dependent on it to help with starting off things I write or brainstorming how I want to phrase things, and it makes me feel like I'm losing my own flair - even though I barely ever use anything it writes out. What is your relationship with getting help from AI? Do you enjoy it or feel a similar icky feeling?

When non-ad ppl ask you what do you do? In terms of title; do you tell them “copywriter”? Or immediately assume they dont know and might confuse it with copyright infringement, and just end up telling them that you’re a writer or a creative director, and skip the hassle

Please help! I'm looking for writing terminology. At our agency, we are getting more into creative writing vs ... executional writing? Please help me find the right term. Creative means developing the big idea (concepting), writing scripts and headlines with flair, etc.) for an awareness "hook" and then the other camp, which includes brochures, one pagers, banner ads, sales sheets.

Jumping off a related topic: am I delusional to not care about jr/int/sr level titles? I've been a "copywriter" since the day I started and steadily gained responsibility, autonomy, and money. Happy with career progression, always getting juicier assignments, work directly with ECDs/CCOs... am I missing something crucial? Is my case an anomaly? Or is it okay not to push for a title upgrade?
