I can’t speak to how big your place is, but JC1 is right in connecting with the job poster. Often teams or levels don’t talk and might not have considered putting your name forward. Just be proactive and ask. If it doesn’t work out, no worries and you get feedback on what you need to do to be promoted. They’ll know you’re interested to move up and you know where you stand with them.

Does anyone here suffer from bipolar disorder? How do you manage it and working in law? I see a therapist, and a psychiatrist, and am on medication, but I still have days where I wake up and I’m so depressed I can’t move. I’m working on remedying this with my doctors, but how does one approach mental health issues with their employer? I never felt the need to until I realized how much being bipolar can affect my ability to work.
