During office hours, if given a chance for a team get-together, I’d love to join. It’s not always about salary—sometimes good vibes, team bonding, and small breaks bring more value to the workplace. whats your option on it ..?

Are you saying that you wouldn't join a team activity if it was after hours though? I agree it would be nice if all of our team get-togethers could be done during work hours but most of the time that's not how it happens in my experience. I still think it's worth the time and effort after hours though

100% AMEN, and Aleluia! I love the family-style feeling in my company. The feeling of being cared for is worth more than a higher salary. My team literally threw a baby shower for me right before taking on maternity leave. They always remember birthdays and know about my family. I love that so much, and I wouldn't change to make more.

Yeah money never give internal Satisfaction . This kind of activity give positivity its good for work

If it’s during office hours, yes. I also think it’s good to familiarize yourself with your colleagues for professional purposes

Yeah i think so

On my previous team I avoided team stuff like the plague because my manager was the worse

Now I’d love to have team building things my new team is amazing.

Hi,
I received an offer as Senior QA Engineer in Coforge. The offer mentions a hike of 30℅ from my current salary, no joining bonus and I'm assigned to band 3. There is also a mention of the probation period of 6 months. Can this be considered a good offer?
YOE: 6
No other offer in hand.
Please let me know whether I should go ahead with accepting the offer.

I'm a SWE from Italy. Love my country but salary and taxes here are outrageous. Got 2yrs experience in fullstack and data science, 2masters, a peer reviewed paper and outperform all my peers for 24k€ a year.
I'm thinkin about landing a remote SWE job (leetcoding and building a portfolio this summer).
Have you got some advice? Is it possible to work for US remotely without visa? What other countries pay well? Is it possible to land a 100k$+ with this kind of experience and working from Italy?

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?

Hi All,

Say you have an offer for Senior Test Engineer and SDET (not senior).
Compensation is same. Both the companies are good.

Given the narrowing boundaries between testing and dev, which position is better in the long run? I thought it'd be SDET.
But, I'd like to have expert/experienced opinion.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Does anybody know what the typical salary range is and total comp for someone starting out as an internal or external wholesaler? If you are one of these, can you share about your experience in terms of whether you liked it or not, work life balance, travel, etc?
