For the verbal section I actually found reading tough books to be the thing that helped the most. Bonus is you get to learn actually interesting stuff at the same time. (Scored Q47/V47, 750)
I did the following: Manhattan Prep and e-Gmat to learn. Then I got the OG questions (there’s like 1000+ questions through Wiley) and practiced them while timing myself. I spent more time reviewing the mistakes. To practice timing and give myself a ballpark, I took other practice tests in between (PR, Kaplan, etc.) Only once I got comfortable with testing format and endurance did I start taking the official practices tests (once I finished like 600 practice questions, a few alternative company practice tests / sections I took my first practice). Got a 760 through 15 hours of studying per week for 3 months.
Wow okay thanks
For quant, crammed Target Test Prep and then did questions daily in the evening. When you make a mistake, understand how to solve problem on the same day, take a look at the same problem and do it again to make sure the concept is locked in
EY-P dm if you’d like a study partner
Honestly you can use any good GMAT book available on the market. Plus, use google and youtube as much as you can. Study first and then solve some sample papers. Identify your strengths and weaknesses, also time management is very important. Create a study schedule as per the time you have least distractions and take small breaks in between study sessions. Best of luck!
