I am a career changer on mo 4 of a 6 mo sourcer/researcher contract that I’m not sure will be renewed due to team re-organizing. I started working this year after my master in a European office. I don’t have a focus related to my specialty. I am being staffed to a project that doesn’t seem bringing me more skills except the soft skills. I started looking for new opportunities in the market, but I suffered from being rejected. As an expat, I have a visa constraint, which makes some positions out of my range. These days, I quite struggle with getting myself motivated in my work. Advice, please!

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job
