Europe A2 license holders! Looking for ideas for an ADV/Touring oriented options. Quite conflicted between going new vs used route. I think if new then clearly for me it’s between the T7 or XL750. In the used market it’s a bit more confusing as there are plenty of options from previous generations. In the used market I would be open to ST type bikes as well. Primary riding is going to be for touring on weekends/vacations. Not a pro-off roader, but wouldn’t mind taking some minor trails.

I am a backend Java engineer, and have solely used Java since I've started my software engineering career about 2 years ago. I don't know whether I should explore other tech stacks while I'm young, or instead focus on becoming a Java expert, given that I enjoy working in Java.

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?

I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?
