Glad am ending the year with this

When negotiating Salary, do you mention Glassdoor, Levels.fyi, or a separate source? Or neither?? Looking at a role I’m currently a candidate for and the discrepancy of pay between Glassdoor and Levels.fyi is absurd (IE Glassdoor average salary is almost 40K higher than Levels.fyi) Glassdoor also has more “data points”, for lack of a better term, than Levels.fyi for this role.
Thoughts??

I would wait a while. You never know if your second will pick up more germs/ be sick more often/ etc. flexibility in this stage is invaluable
Also, don’t know if you’ll have a good sleeper
Yes, it’s foolish imo lol. Take advantage of the flexibility with your young children!
Depends. Flexibility sure is a huge benefit, however if you are feeling stuck this could be causing you be suffering in other ways. I found myself in a very similar situation, great flexibility, great pay but was being limited for reason out of my control. I started casually looking and found a job that I was excited about. I sacrificed the ability to wfh but my commute is so short it didn’t matter. I’m much much happier over all.
The kink for you is kid on the way. Insurance and all, not sure of your situation but that’s also a bit thing to consider too.
Depends on the job. Also, in my opinion, flexibility can be presented many different ways. Maybe you give up wfh as much, but you gain the ability to leave the office when you need to, or adjust your working hours. Everything is negotiable as long as both sides are willing to compromise 🤷🏼♀️
Answer is always no unless you ask and it never hurts to know your options. I don’t regret my job change, I gave up wfh entirely, but my stress level and anxiety is down (no more panic/anxiety attacked) and when I’m home I am so so much happier.
Good luck!
