Few months into my 1st IA position. My boss is completely disengaged and presents my work as a group effort. I’m left fending for myself…learning how to do my job thru gpt and iia resources. I let his boss know what’s happening from the get-go to no avail. My boss is really smooth and I’m not, so it’s hard to shine a light on his behavior...just makes me look whiney and emo. Is this experience typical in audit? Thinking of going back to accounting.

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. I don’t want to waste time (colleagues mentioned it doesn’t get much better from here). Do I embrace the suck or look for other opportunities?

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.
