I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I have an MBA from the University of Chicago, not that it matters much in sales. I have always been in a consulting role but I think I can make more in sales. I have a competitive personality and I am bored.

Would it be difficult to switch from environmental litigation to environmental regulatory work? I’ve been at my firm now for a little over a year and it is all litigation. The environmental regulatory job postings I’ve seen require at least a few years of regulatory work. I am not sure how to make that transition. Any thoughts?

I'm feeling incredibly anxious and honestly depressed right now because of work. I had already been feeling demotivated and wanting to leave but I was told on Monday that I was being out on probation for one year (I am not going into detail on this). Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). I find this aspect of PA stressful and exhausting but not sure if this is something you just get used to. Currently a manager and seems like the metrics just change over time / don’t get easier.
