I’m a new analyst at a PE firm, and my associate keeps blaming me for things she does wrong. Like she will tell me I made the wrong change, even though she is the one who changed it. Between two offers, "Associate Principal" for m&a consulting in the Healthcare industry vs a Director at a F300 company doing M&A and Partnerships. Consulting pays about 50k more. What does the future look like in consulting? I am a bit nervous jumping from from "industry side" to the "consulting side".

I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role. I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.).
