IUI, is it worth it or skip and go straight to IVF?

My wife and I are starting a first cycle of IVF. Given how expensive IVF is/can be, wondering if anyone has lessons learned on the insurance front—understanding it varies by plan, of course. We’re currently enrolled in HDHP w/ HSA, and have nurse consult tomorrow discuss financials among other things. Still in open enrollment, which is great timing. Thanks all. Staying hopeful.

Our district voted on returning back to school with students in the classroom and some staying at home. We now have to teach students in the room and on Zoom at the same time. I’m not complaining but does anyone have any tips on the best and most effective way to get this done?

A coworker sharing their screen accidentally screencasted a job application they were filling out. It was up for long enough I saw some of what they were saying they did; I did that work or someone else did, so I’m annoyed they’re lying but honestly hope they find a new job that makes them happy. Downloaded the “Days” app. No frills, no extras. Just a number staring you in the face. I’ve made it almost habitual to open and check... even multiple times a day when I know the day counter hasn’t changed, but it’s helping and encouraging. Each day is a sense of accomplishment and a win over the pull of my own thoughts. Forcing my willpower into further restraint. 10 days strong so far.

How do firms see candidates seeking to lateral across practice groups? I’m a senior lit associate doing v well at my current firm but seeking a global relocation which might entail switching to a transactional practice. Thinking capital markets since I have a lot of experience in advising our clients of litigation risk when issuing debt etc. Would I even be considered (obvi I expect some cut in seniority)? Is this common?
