How difficult is it to move between Big 4 M&A Deals Practices (i.e. PwC->EY, KPMG->Deloitte etc.) and when is the best time—financially and otherwise—to make a move post MBA?

Is there a way to work part time or close to 40 hours a week average with big 4 in advisory? I don’t really care how much I get paid and just want some WLB and health insurance lol.

For those in big 4, how much time between accepting an offer and start date have you been able to ask for? Is a month feasible/how should one phrase it? Two weeks just doesn’t feel like enough with this heavy burnout/having to wrap up deals at old firm

I'm panicking. We just adopted a 12 week old kitten. My 12 year old cat is pissed at me. My dog wants to be friends with the cats, but the cats are less than enthused. Just completed my last shift in the ICU. I'm glad to be shifting back to the Maternatity ward. It was exhausting, and emotionally draining working with such sick patients. I know the work we did made a big difference, but I'm glad to go back to my favorite role!
