I am a Supply Chain Manager and my daily responsibilities include ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products through the organization and its suppliers. I also work on improving the efficiency and responsiveness of the supply chain to better meet customer demand.

I am a buyer for a company. My job is to purchase the products that the company needs to operate. This includes items like office supplies, raw materials, and finished goods. I work with suppliers to get the best prices and delivery times, and then place orders accordingly.

I am a supply chain analyst and one of my responsibilities is to carry out data analysis with the purpose of identifying problem areas and suggesting improvements in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

My position is supply chain planner, and I am in charge of managing and organizing all procurement, production and distribution activities of the goods that the company makes available to its customers.

If you don’t mind me asking, how many years of experience supply planning and how much is your salary?

Can someone point me to some material where I can read about profit sharing vs 401k. I get the concept, but I am trying to understand is 10% profit sharing vested over 5 years better than an employee 401k match of 6%?

From my understanding 10% PS is better because it’s just a standard 10% on top of whatever I contribute though it takes 5 years to vest. Does this mean if I leave before 5 years I don’t get any of it?

Looking for opinions. I’m an IW with 2 yrs experience working from home at a Fortune 500 company w/ excellent benefits, target salary 75k. I was previously offered a job at another company where the 75k salary was guaranteed for the first year. Most people make much more than this once their comp fully ramps up, but, I would have to work in the office. I declined the offer, but now the CEO wants to meet with me several months later. Would I be crazy if I asked for 100k guaranteed salary?
