I just graduated last year and have about a year of sysadmin experience and am trying to get into it asap. So, I'm already applying/job hunting and probably won't get much replies but. Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

Thoughts on pneumatic vs. electric standing desks? Does extra weight make pneumatic desks any more difficult to operate?
