For those who have escaped to industry, curious how WLB differs between consulting and some of the more high-visibility functions like BD/CorpDev at a larger biotech with a reputation for intensity like a BridgeBio or similar? Versus say a supporting role in insights or forecasting?

I helped him a for while, then he said, “this is really helpful, I have to go to an all team meeting for 30 minutes, but could we finish after that?” Me: “an all team meeting today?” Him: “yeah, I always schedule an all team meeting on days like this so people can’t pretend to wfh when they are really on pto.” smh 🤦‍♂️

However, i have been contacted about a role at IQVIA for a new pure strategy internal group that they are standing up. It would be a 55% salary boost with director title and completely remote. Should I consider it? The salary increase and location flexibility are alluring.
