Excel
Monarch
Mentor
I paid for monarch (50% off first year) starting a few months ago. Overall happy with it - makes ~monthly financial overview conversations with spouse simpler for both of us
RIP Mint. Monarch and Rocket Money are both okay, Mint was much better in my opinion but it went downhill a few years before they shut it down. Would love to hear what people are using after Mint if anyone is like me and still misses their service
I use Personal Capital. Best free alternative after Mint beat the dust.
I’ve tried lots of tools, but found Personal Capital to be the best for tracking net worth tracking (better than Mint, YNAB, Monarch, Copilot, TrueBill etc).
For budgeting and net worth tracking, best solution I’ve found is Personal Capital plus Excel. Personal Capital categorizes and aggregates transactions from all accounts and lets you export to excel where you can set up custom budgets by month etc.
Thanks this is all helpful! I looked at a few of the options and think I’m going to start with Empower Personal Capital.
YNAB works great for everyday spending as well as wealth tracking for me
