Frequent flyer folks - have you ever gotten interrogated at baggage claim AFTER customs? Recently in 2025 noticing a lot of CBSA officers are now questioning people including citizens about their job IN Canada amongst other questions. I can’t find anything about being approached after you clear customs and are waiting for your bag.

I have. They just asked me the purpose of my trip and I just told the truth. They can’t not let me in the country 🤷‍♂️

Doesn’t what? Immigration definitely has been more lenient in the last 10 years

Nope but it’s good that they’re looking into this, there’s been a lot of people sneaking in or overstaying visas

I figured that’s what’s partially causing the heightened security lately aside from our southern counterpart. Then again, why at baggage claim? The only thing I can think of is the whole “fentanyl czar” thing but that would be detected in the scanners not when it comes out of baggage claim.

I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.

I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

What do you think of this approach? Would be curious to hear from both hiring manager perspectives and from candidate perspectives.

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!
