Generally, the phrase “lateral move” bothers me. No one is really looking for a true lateral move, or they’d just stay where they are. SOMETHING has to improve.
Unless you’re just referring to your title. But even then, as an ACD this title is all over the map depending on where you go.
Also $180k seems pretty nice but you should always go for more when making a leap somewhere. Even if it’s only with incentives
Titles are irrelevant. Value is what they pay you and what you get to do. Focus on getting more $ with opportunity to grow your skills, book, experience.
