Haven’t we learned this yet? This stuff doesn’t work.
Even Sam Altman didn't use Sora to make his new ChatGPT campaign
Also some clients are starting to include a no AI clause in their contracts
Does anyone remember Marcel?
Shoes off inside the shell please!

The good news is, it will probably just be a giant piece of shit.
An age old example of agencies lying and overselling capabilities. It will definitely get there w/in 6-8 years. But not yet.
Meanwhile countless articles have overwhelmingly described how every target group INCLUDING Gen Y HATES AI video.
"End-to-end agentic AI content engine." What does that mean? Love the management gobbledygook!
"We are now offering an AI slop factory! Take THAT Fivver!!"
I don’t think it’s the end of production departments. You still need producers to oversee, budget, schedule, organize and produce whether it’s all AI or not. The work doesn’t get made on its own.
What’s funny???
Highly unlikely this is real
@H1 - Well, the deck is real…and the story is rehearsed…so it’s “Agency Real.”
Aren’t there copyright issues to deal with? Also everyone will be doing the same thing so no one will stand out?
That’s the other issue: IP. You can’t just take material and run free with it. All content has to be legally cleared.
Publicis’ MO: Sell, then build.
(And whatever it is, or more likely will be, will not be creating ads but ADLOBs.)
Well their “life-speed data engine” was a load of horseshit, so I will believe it when I see it.
Holding companies have basically been promising “efficiencies = profits” to an industry that runs on human attention and creativity. They’re gonna try to use AI to optimize for both. People won’t pay attention.
When it comes to humans, AI is a big FAIL. You know it’s AI. It doesn’t look real. Take your headshot and put it into AI and ask is something simple like making your hair darker. Whatever distinctive marks, moles, details or whatever on your face get deleted or smoothed out and your face ends up tinted a slight shade of orange. Blow that photo up and you see minuscule pours evenly spread about on your face.
So they created a ChatGPT knockoff. Congrats?
AI is a tool - an efficiency tool, as well as a creative tool to support creative artists.
It is far from perfect and still ncorporates data scraped from the universe unless it is trained within it's own dataset. It is by no means killing off talented producers, creative teams or the management crew that needs to protect both its clients and its agency's IP. Systems will evolve to become what is needed and what is successful.... Utilizing unsupervised AI to generate brand messaging across all channels has yet to be tested. Someone has to supervise - exactly as it has to be now.
