From Covington La. I'm a professional office administrator and have applied for over 40 jobs in 2024. Landed 5 interviews but was never picked. I have all the skills and experiences that these jobs post. I have a rockstar winning personality and do well on interviews. I just don't understand why I don't get picked. Some say I have what they're looking for and am a strong candidate but yet they don't pick me. It's very discouraging and upsetting on the daily. Depression sets in after awhile.

Is there a professional/respectful way to decline a take home case study that doesn't automatically disqualify you from the candidate pool?

I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company.
