Genuine question:

I am a consultant at a T2 in the Middle East, and got accepted into CBS and Booth with $$. I applied to H/W but got rejected with no interview.

I want to use the MBA to explore the US market; however, I am wondering if it’s worth postponing the MBA and reapplying to H/W next year given my profile

CBS is great and was one of my top choices but I’ve seen people with similar profiles got accepted into W, and I can’t stop thinking that next year I would have a stronger profile

Got an email saying I’m getting promoted to audit senior and I’m a little sad/anxious because I know it just means more work and stress. I really need to leave audit.. has anyone else felt this way. I’m all for career growth but just not in audit. I hate it here.

Has anyone on here moved from IB to management consulting as an experienced hire? How do you view the decision in retrospect?
