Get a shredder to shred old docs or just rip them up by hand?

Don't want a shredder bc it's bulky and I only need it for that one reason, afterwards it'll just collect dust. But I also don't want to risk identity/safety measures

I'm not in sales per se but I manage my company's largest wholesale account ($150 million per/yr account). It's a great company, awesome culture, good benefits, flexibility, but the pay is not great ($60K/yr). Has anyone here use a resume writer before to help them rewrite their resume? I feel like trying to write about myself and be objective isn't the easiest thing. Get me in front of a hiring manager for an interview and have no problem talking about myself and my history. Getting it on paper and past the ATS is a different story.

If so, anyone you would recommend? Anything to look out for or suggest?

Some Business Intelligence/Analyst roles are very data heavy. I wonder why these roles do not have the term “data” in them, and wonder if it’s to keep the salary lower than it should be. I have colleagues doing intense data science tasks as BI Analysts, and can’t help but feel indignant on their behalf because when hearing their job title, one would underestimate their technical ability.

I’m new in tech and curious why people consider product so…intense? Sorry about my ignorance on this topic or if my question is too vague. I don’t get it either

Had been working as a BA/PM role at a financial firm for 3.5 years and decided to leave corporate to join my family’s small business with the mentality I’d take things over. It’s been a little over a year and I’ve come to the realization that it’s not for me. Im looking to transition myself back to IT/Tech, but am feeling apprehensive in getting the attention of recruiters with the industry switch. Any advice from anyone that’s been in a similar situation?

When you’ve put in a lot of hard-work as a developer on a great project and received the best performance award but compensation has been same since Day 1…and have completed 2 years in the company. Furthermore no signs of compensation going up…Is it the best time to leave or stay? Additionally too many management changes have taken place that everything feels out of place.

How do you hire for a role that fluctuates? I currently am the designer + support specialist @ my job. Sometimes support takes up all my time and design projects get pushed back. Other times support is dead for two days. Does anyone have solutions? Our team has thought about outsourcing but as a company that relies on maintaining websites, having a non-native English speaker can have the impression on our clients that “We don’t care”..
