I would do 4 days in whatever city you go to first, give your body a chance to adjust to the time change without feeling rushed in that city. Like the others said, you could easily do 7 days in either place. I would also figure out what you want to see in each city and that might help dictate how much time you spend there.
Not sure what you like to do but if you’re into the Xmas Spirit, I would go to Strasbourg for at least one night (two half-days). Best Xmas market town in all of Europe. Easy train ride from Paris. Could do that and also London and Paris
Tbh that’s fine for both. Let your itinerary be the one to settle the amount of days you’re at each city. Account for jet lag.
Depends on what you like to do. You can easily spend 7 days in either city and still miss few spots.
All said, you gonna have tons of fun. Both cities are beautiful and has a lot to offer.
If you ‘d like to split, 4 and 3 should work out.
Are you going alone or with your family?
