It could be several things. Either another candidate edged you out, or the interview itself isn’t doing you justice. I know I have had to do a lot of work on my interview skills. I know to follow the same formula of researching the company, knowing the job description, and practicing general questions with scenarios I’ve been through.
For this particular job, I knew it was a big step from a small firm (3 attys) to a larger one. I did know of a couple attys as opposing counsel on several cases. I was told by a close friend to stick to the questions, answer what's asked, no overboard with personal info/life. This one did bring up personal matters. Asked about certain circumstances. I have a feeling that its due to them thinking I wouldn't be able to hear them. I am HoH, I did tell them that I am in process of getting new hearing aid AND had a sinus/ear infection. Which impedes my hearing. I did have to ask 2x for one to repeat the question. He was quiet anyway. Interview went great otherwise. I believe I was edged out by someone with more experience. I hope lol
