What’s you’re current salary, years experience, line of service? If you’re already a M I’m guessing you’re around the 115-125 range? I’d shoot for 140-150?
Are you currently in advisory? If you're in assurance, their focus on winning work may be a bit of a shock to the system. Shoot for $150k and let them bring it down.
I’m in Advisory at EY
Rn I’m making 110K. I was thinking of asking for 140K. Not sure if that’s too high
I know SC over at Deloitte advisory GPS making 115k. No way I’d go to D as a Manager for any less than 130
Overpaid... or a good negotiator?
SA1, is that person in cyber or accounting? Also does that person have a TS? Finally does that person have a lot of years of experience (and therefore could be billed at a higher rate).
Internal controls 6 years total experience all in consulting out of college. DHS clearance.
SA1, are you sure that person isn’t in consulting? Not saying it’s impossible, but that salary for the second level in the practice is highly unlikely
They are gps, I wouldn’t think internal controls is considered consulting. Isn’t SC level 3? Analyst, C, SC?
There are no analysts in advisory. Consultant is entry level and usually SC is 2-4 years of work experience. Consulting has analysts and SC is the 3rd level. Depending on background, someone with an internal controls background could be hired into the consulting finance practice
