Should I pull the trigger and apply to another job. I’ve been at big 4 for a little over a year now and I don’t see myself staying until manager, possibly not even senior. I never was super ecstatic about the job, but it has gotten worse since WFH began. Another job opportunity appeared closer to my home with the potential of a $10K+ pay increase.

Anyone made the jump from academic to industry? Low key tired of low pay and being at the mercy of a PI renewing the grant for funding. I feel like a glorified graduate student. what did you like and what did you hate about the jump. Do you regret it? Thanks.

I have been at the current hospital I work at in administration for about 11 years now. I am treated great, love the people and love the hours. They allow me to really create my own schedule based on my needs and have taken great care of me over the past 11 years. The only problem is that our CEO has stated that we will never be a company that gives yearly raises, merit based or cost of living. I was offered a new job in Internal Audit/ Consulting role at my current employer. W/ a jump in pay-grade level, 1 level (Hay Grade 16 to 17), and a 20% increase in salary ($108K to $130K) and 5% increase in potential bonus pay-out (10% to 15%). I was looking for $150K (39%) but am happy to get $140K (30%). How should I go about doing this?

In TCS salary breakup I found there are 2 component of variable pay one is monthly and 2nd is quarterly both having same digit in breakup. I don’t understand whether I will be getting monthly variable as fixed and QVA as per the quarterly performance of myself team and company.

Developers are getting paid at scale of 17-25 LPA at experience of 5-6 years. And MBA with (3+2+2) YOE (Pre-MBA-Post) is earning 15-18. Why is the math skewed?

I work in tech and have been at my current company for 6+ years now. I'm basically a senior level data analyst and I'm really the only person at my company with that skill set so I get A LOT of high priority requests from every dept. It can get overwhelming.
The idea was just floated to hire and train 2 analysts to work beneath me so that I can focus more on strategy, big picture and optimizations. Should I be asking for a raise and title change? I did get a pretty decent raise in February too.
