Got informed that my start date at McKinsey as a BA is pushed back from Jan to October 2024. I have already been waiting since December 2022. What is going on? I am pretty depressed about this news as I had been planning for my future and was planning on leaving my current role. My peers are moving ahead, but I’m still waiting to start . Advice on this? I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes.
