Is it worth to resign in this recession time ?
Hi fishes,
Anyone joined coforge recently? Any reviews for the same? Is it worth to join this organisation? They told me they are hiring for Santander bank account but still be having client interview before onboarding to project. Any idea on this account? Is it tough to crack client interview over there? Don't want to face long bench hours like it used to be in Publicis sapient which led to brutal lay off. Kinda sceptical to join as it is giving me Publicis sapient vibes.Coforge Coforge ltd

First off, it’s been a stressful time and you could absolutely say that you took a mental health break to focus on yourself and get your goals aligned with your career. If they don’t like that, maybe it’s not the right company.
Second, I think you should approach the search as “looking for the right job” not just “a job”. You should have conversations in your interview about the culture and work life balance. If they are looking for a “self starter ready to roll their sleeves up”, that doesn’t sound like the right role for a good work life balance.
Once you get in the role, be aware of your hours and time spent on work. Set hard boundaries for yourself to log off and communicate that to your team. If you do that from the beginning, the expectation is set. If you don’t, you’re going to find yourself working too much again because there is always more work to be done and if your team doesn’t know your boundaries, they aren’t going to define them for you.
