Graduated in 2022 from SF State with a Broadcasting Degree and Cinema minor. Was unemployed from December to June 2023. Got a job at Warner Bros as a barista and recently quit because I saved enough to survive off of for the next few months and came to realization that I was not going to be moving up at Warner. I feel like I made the wrong decision as I’ve been trying to find film work and it seems like there’s none. Need advice and I’m wondering what’s my next step. Feeling lost and worthless.

I made a couple errors at a new job. An important document to be distributed had wrong information on it, which was proofread by 2 other people. Then a couple of typos in emails, the person micromanaging me told me to send out but I didn’t fix the errors. Failed to meet a deadline but completed 95%. I was written up over all this last week, fired this week. There’s a lot more to this but I think it’s because the DM doesn’t like me.
