Getting interviews but no offers yet
I’m getting interviews and finally finding companies looking for full time employees. A lot of recruiters and companies reaching out are looking for contract employees. In September I had a boat load of interviews then they fell through or the role got cancelled. And now it’s picking up again.
I would start networking, reaching out to recruiters and beefing up your LinkedIn. I re-did my SEO for LinkedIn and I gained a lot of traffic. I also comment on posts that make sense and that has lead to a lot of people reaching out and connecting.
It’s no bueno and the economy won’t be getting better anytime soon. There have been a lot of quiet layoffs in between the big names so also a bunch of competition out here for the same jobs
Save up 4-6 months of living expenses if you can. Spiffy up your site, LinkedIn and resume then start looking. If you do get laid off, apply for unemployment benefits immediately don’t wait until you drain savings etc. It won’t cover everything but it’ll help.
Sorry to hear. Hoping for the best for you.
