Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

Not a red flag per se, but given how in demand good SEs always are, that call wouldn’t be worth my time. 10 years ago, I may have taken it to see if it was a possible fit. Now, if youre a recruiter who can’t give me some basic info (like the company, job description, and salary range) so I can screen what’s worth a call, I don’t bother responding.
I guess the question is, are you willing to walk away from a potential opportunity for a 15 min call? I understand that this is a slightly toxic practice for this recruiter to do, but they are sales people too. Would you give a customer pricing without a demo ;)
i would just take the call and see what they say. not necessarily a red flag for me. they just don’t want to be held liable if the offer comes below that - which doesn’t mean that it will
