Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

I’ve had great success with freelancing and dog walking/sitting, as well as cleaning peoples homes and babysitting. If you can get a few consistent clients/customers for these things, it’s solid extra cash over time.
Freelancing has been the best since I can charge the most for that. I bring in an extra $1,000 a month for doing a few hours a week of what I do FT already.
Thanks so much!
Flipping furniture. I’ve started with trunks and coffee tables, buying off FB marketplace I try and buy them below $50 you’ll be surprised what ppl get rid of. And then fix em up, paint, poly and put back on FB or Offer Up. One lady I follow makes about 3-3.5k/month. She does mostly dressers tv stands etc. I’ve made some easy flips myself, bought a trunk for $30 probably put 100 into it and sold for $300. Did a small table for $15 sold for $40 took 1-2 days of labor and you get to do you the whole time. Plus there are lots of videos on YT to help if you are not the most handy.
I’ve been thinking about doing this as well
