Had a credit card customer call in once, about a weird recurring charge. It was from a dating text/call service he’d signed up for.
He was like, “I’m 70+ and I keep getting contacted by 18 to 25-year olds. I only wanted 45+!” 😅
He couldn’t get the company to cancel it, so he called us hoping the bank could somehow step in and fix it.
Honestly, I didn’t even know how to respond for a sec, just trying not to laugh while helping him file a dispute.
Call center reps really do hear it all!!!
