Had what I thought was a great phone interview last week. The talent acquisition person and I had excellent rapport, and the call ended with him saying they're moving me forward in the process. I heard nothing at all for a week, so I sent a friendly nudge yesterday to follow up. 20 minutes later, I get an auto-rejection email. I'm so frustrated with this job market. Like, what gives?

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

Should litigation come out of legal or the businesses budget? My understanding is business? Any thoughts here or advice…

Who’s made the jump to product management? I’m in product design and getting board, but it’s almost impossible to move to PM at my company. Makes me wonder if PM somewhere else would be best.

What do we think about these culture assessments? I don't understand how they get value from You have never wanted to "tell someone off" AGREE or DISAGREE or Would you rather Make Art or Go out to a social setting There has to be some kind of Jedi mind tricks right. I mean who would say I have never in my life wanted to tell someone off. Are they looking for honesty? Any HR people who can tell us what the "grades" look like? Do they need you to be in a range so they can consider hiring?

In April, I joined my current company, and my role has very quickly evolved to be more of a managerial one. Is it too early to ask for a raise?
