Does Controllership at Deloitte have anything to do with FP&A? Thinking in terms of career progression

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?

RIOT - thoughts on selling Jan 22 15p for $4? 26% return for 8 months. If assigned, cost basis around 11. Seems too good to be true. What am I missing?

Looking for advice for investing in these two options. Say I have $100k by October saved up
1) Put 10k into iBonds and $90k as downpyament and closing costs for a property (I’ll need to put in 20%, already talked to several mortgage agents)
2) Put $0 in ibonds and put all the $100k in the home investing (given it’s a little more of an expensive property, given some other factors - location, size, etc)

Is now a good moment to invest (bc of inflation etc)? I have invested a bit over the past years and lost a lit of money- obviously these are long term investments so i hope it will get better over the next monthy/years.
But I’m wondering if I should keep investing now 🤔 any advice much appreciated 🙏

What’s the career path for internal auditor? Heard people saying it’s not as good as Sec reporting accountant. Currently a Senior 2 in assurance and looking for the change. However, not a fan of accounting like 606 memo and leases etc. So I am concerned about my future….
