For the first time in my entire professional career, not only has my company not bothered to look at a calendar when planning things, but they scheduled a major meeting *on* Yom Kippur. Uhhh...I've worked a bunch of places and this has never been an issue. Lack of foresight or genuine not giving a shit about employees? Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. What was the hardest class year for you? I used to think first year was by far the hardest but now I’m a third year and I’m really feeling the pressure to step up. I work in finance and at this point I’m expected to handle closing documents, manage first years, draft some portions of major docs, etc. I feel like I’m always frazzled, constantly second guessing if I handled something correctly and anxious to answer calls from clients/OC. The worst part is I think people can tell I’m a mess....

Are any of you stress shoppers? I need ideas on what to waste $$ on. Please tell me what your latest big irrational purchase was.

I have been using this emoji 🙏 and saying to so many colleagues and clients “I’ll pray for you” with such warm and genuine receipt that I think sometimes God uses hopelessness to open people’s hearts to Him. I’ve spoken about my faith to work people more than I ever have in my 20 year career. In such a dark time, what a light prayer can be for our coworkers and clients.
