I finally got my holiday shopping done, I don't know that I'd call it fun, but I am glad to not be so stressed out that I still have to buy gifts. Master procrastinator over here lol

I hope you got everything that you needed!

Let's just say I got so immersed in work that I forgot to have fun. And just when I thought my time to have fun had finally arrived, I fell ill. Looks like the universe is against me having fun.

Don’t lose yourself to work!

Hmm, well this has been a really busy week and next week is looking pretty hectic as well. But the holidays will be here soon, so that is something to look forward to.

thanks for sharing!

My usual weekend routine involves microwave meals and takeout, but this week, I decided to channel my inner Julia Child. I whipped up a batch of my grandma's famous lasagna (recipe passed down through generations, no less!), complete with homemade sauce and enough layers to rival a skyscraper.

Nice! Thanks for sharing.

My company is in need of a update online, could use your opinions! We need to better showcase our culture (caring, supportive, fun, intelligent IT industry leaders) as well as diversity. We are predominantly white still but making strides to improve here. What’s the best way to approach? I don’t want to seem disingenuous or that we are singling out our diverse employees (asking for photos). We have a remote and on-site workforce about 350+ EEs. Non white EEs make up about 35% of the company rn.

I am worried that I am being benchmarked on a wrong job title.

Sales Manager vs International Manager or should it be something else?

My employer is based in China, while I am in France. I remotely manage a global sales team, with team members from around the globe. They all work remotely as well.

Being remote, and managing an international remote team, I would like to know what should be my job title? Any idea or professionals that I may contact, please?

Thank you.

Tips for bankruptcy associates who eventually want to move in-house? 3rd year associate in bankruptcy/restructuring group doing mainly bk lit but a few deals too. Need to stay in BL for at least another year for the money, but eventually want to move in-house. Seeking for advice on career path from all pros in this bowl. Master degree in SCM and Business analytics. I have two years of data analysis and visualization experience in procurement. One year of technology sourcing experience so far. And that will continue if no surprises. Curious what kind of career path I can get by starting like this.

Most of my family members think all I do is write addresses on boxes and toss them in the mail. Is there anyone else who has this problem? It feels like people think of logistics as unskilled labor

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?

Today I messed up doing a delivery. The client was expecting the supplies at 3pm in the warehouse, however, there was an accident on the highway and traffic was insane. It slipped my mind to let them know about the delay. Now, they believe it was me being irresponsible and are threatening to fire me for not reporting on time and possible losing them a client.
