Happy Tuesday!

Well, couple of rejections came hard this week. I worked hard to complete the interview but one interview checked a previously employer and didn't leave a good review. Another had a 2 hour test for the interview and 30 minute interview.
I appericate that I had some feedback but it's time to rethink which angle to use.

I recently gave 3rd round of interview with Gamma and it went very smoothly.
I answered every question even interview ended on a very good note andI was confident that I will definitely make it to the next round then after an hour later I got the rejection email.

I still am in shock what could have gone wrong. Seriously what could have gone wrong.

How much time BNY mellon takes to reply after we submit all the documents they asked for once we complete all rounds of interviews.

Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. However, I am very, very interested in transitioning to this practice. And I reaaally want this job because it’s at my dream firm. How would you recommend preparing for the lateral interview?

I got an offer from epam but confused whether it’s epam systems or anywhere.
As I have been given fixed salary and remote work. But on offer it states EPAM systems.
Could someone please let me know who has joined epam anywhere recently if on offer it’s mentioned as anywhere?
On my interview invites as well it was mentioned anywhere.

So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

I am currently in Wipro having CTC as 7.8 LPA.. I have got an offer from TCS which is 11LPA.However, my Basic Pay/Fixed compensation is getting reduced in the new offer and also the HRA is getting reduced. The HR is telling that the basic is fixed as per policy and they cannot change it. The base pay is less but there are several other components which are higher. Should I take up the new offer? Worst part about being unemployed is the pity face everyone makes when you tell them. If I hear one more "don't worry you'll find something soon" I'm going to scream. Trying to be helpful is one thing but pitying me helps no one and makes me uncomfortable.

Just got let go and my manager said part of it was because I was looking for other jobs. I didn't look for other jobs at work, so I'm not sure how they could have known that unless a coworker snitched on me. Is it worth it to try and find out who or should I just leave it? Can't deny that I'm seriously pissed off about it.
