Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

If you can’t sleep before an interview should you ask to reschedule? As in, how bad does it look to ask to reschedule?

Recently interviewed at Adobe, it was great. Even the senior designer I was connected with escalated it a lot. But then suddenly after the last interview, I haven’t heard in a week from them even after multiple follow ups. Recruiter said she will reach out on Monday, but even Tuesday passed now. Can anyone explain the difference between PWC SDC, PWC AC and PWC India?

I am trying to get into PWC. here are a few things I have heard so far. Is this fairly accurate?

1. PwC AC is offshore counterpart of PwC US. Good salary. No travel opportunities. Average yearly hike ~10% Mostly technical work.
2 PwC India is a pure consulting firm. Salary better than PwC AC. client facing work. Can grow as a management consultant. Great Travel opportunities.

Recently put an offer down on a home. Given the market, had to waive the appraisal contingency. The appraiser’s report came back with a significant shortfall. Anyone working two corporate jobs at the same time? Contemplating staying at the current employer while accepting a new role until the year-end bonus (12/31). Strategy Consultant, recently promoted to Manager with a focus in tech and life science. What level roles and financial packages would be reasonable for an exit into tech/health tech/digital health? Recently got an offer for salesforce sales strategy (105K TC) vs Morgan Stanley IB Strategy (135K TC). Salesforce will be 40-50 hours a week remote until 2022 and then will have a hybrid working model, most likely going in office 2-3 times a week vs Morgan Stanley will be on average 60 hours a week in office full time. Is it worth the 30K extra in compensation to commute to office daily + 10-20 more hours per week? In terms of pay progression, I think Morgan Stanley will definitely be a lot fast

Not my ideal exit but I accepted an offer at another Big4 for a 26 percent hike in base.
Ideally I’d exit to industry in Product/Program manager role but I really needed out and this came up so I took it. And Im on H1B so I cant keep interviewing/accept a better offer if it comes up, once the transfer is initiated.
I can’t decide if Im happy or sad. I’m relieved for now.
