Deloitte folks, I need help. I saw a job posting for life science strategy manager. This would be a lane change from my current role as clinical manager. I have a PhD in biology and would love to break into consulting. But not sure how.

What can the expected CTC for a 5 YOE? I want good WLB and growth in a product based company.

Strategy Consultant, recently promoted to Manager with a focus in tech and life science. What level roles and financial packages would be reasonable for an exit into tech/health tech/digital health? I’ve interviewed for several positions AVP and VP roles since October of ‘21 internally with Citi. Didn’t take any of them because it would have been only $8k - $11k salary bumps. For double or even triple the work. So I’m leaving to go from $70k to $235k in September at a competing firm for a VP level role. The moral of the story: hop if you need to. No reason to stick around for low pay and not being compensated fairly by the company that expects “loyalty” from you.

Recently I had interview with oracle oci and it went well but haven't heard back from HR , how long does it take to update the interview status. My interview completed last week Tuesday.

Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?

Considering a jump from Chicago to New York. I truly love living in Chicago and how far this salary gets me but I definitely want to try to make it in New York.

The only problem is my significant other has a lot of negative opinions about New York. I ultimately want to return to DC but I feel like a few good years in New York would be really good for me. I'm in a litigation, about 9 months in. Is it normal that I spend majority of my time making bundles for my partners (printing, binding, moving docs in a different order whenever there are new documents or he wants to add stuff) reviewing documents and making tables (e.g. dates, which documents are from where), and the only legal work is like notices of admission, list of documents, the occasional research? I'm so bored and I want to quit but I don't know if I have unrealistic expectations.

How are 1st year litigation associates dealing with WFH? I’ve been having terrible anxiety/panic attacks, and pretty sure my billables wont exceed 110 for April.
