Has anyone felt that their male superior tried to lower down your voice/silence you, and tried imposing their thoughts and ideas on you for their own benefit.

I faced a similar situation and felt I was being gaslighted by them and at times felt threatened to speak my opinion. I'm in the realisation phase but really want to do something about it. Can anyone share their thoughts. I would love to hear from Senior folks in ZS Associates.

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?
